Going back to the Department’s origins as a neighborhood volunteer fire department, the St. George Fire Protection District has always undertaken a number of community service programs that go beyond our charge to provide fire protection and medical assistance for the citizens of our District. Each of these programs contributes something to the community and helps promote public safety, public health, and/or public service.

Just like every fire department across the country, we participate in numerous safety demonstrations throughout the community. What continues to set us apart is our growth in risk reduction education. We are passionate about prevention and are ready to welcome the community with open arms and help us all lead safer lives.
With the addition of certified Car Seat Technicians, we are able to schedule FREE car seat installation and education appointments with our professionals. Additionally, we have begun offering Cribs + Car Seats + CPR workshops regularly throughout the year for caregivers of children in multiple age groups!
